Georgina Randall - Allium CEO

Georgina has over a decade of experience in the Not-for-profit sector, establishing and running the largest National Bowel Cancer Charity in New Zealand.

While Georgina’s background has largely been in Health, she has worked in a number of industries including Tourism, FMCG, Motoring, Oil and Gas, Marine, Insurance, Entertainment and Media.

She currently holds a position as an elected member of the Executive Committee for the Women in Tourism Gold Coast (WIT) in her role as Events & Charity Coordinator

Georgina has a background in Fundraising, raising over $1.6 million dollars in a few short years for her charity.

She has worked with all stakeholders including, Local and National Corporations, Government Departments, Ministry of Health, Cancer Control Agency, Pharmaceutical companies, Universities, Oncologists, patients and advocates, to achieve her philanthropic goals.

Georgina is known for thinking outside of traditional norms to achieve her successes which include creating the first ever research programme to reduce colonoscopy wait lists in New Zealand using medical Detection dogs to sniff bowel cancer in urine.

She has also developed the first pre-habilitation pathway for bowel cancer patients in a hospital setting, utilizing multi-disciplinary departments which has never been achieved in New Zealand.

 Her unique ability to connect businesses with the medical fraternity enabled her to facilitate the trial of new cutting-edge technology from The UK into Auckland City Hospital.

 Georgina is adept at using her Journalistic background to gain media coverage for aspects of the charity that required media attention to ensure positive outcomes for all stakeholders involved.
